Trailer delivery by road, from the seller to your door
Trailer Delivery will collect a trailer from a seller, a dealer or a yard and tow it to your address. It is not open yet and nothing can be booked today.
It is for anyone who has bought or sold a trailer and cannot move it:
- you have no tow bar
- your car is not rated for the trailer's weight
- the trailer is several hours' drive away
- you sold one and the buyer cannot collect it
Join the waiting list
Leave an email address and we will tell you when bookings open. Joining the list is not a booking. We have not quoted a price for any job and we have not promised a date.
How a delivery will work
You describe the trailer
Collection and delivery postcodes, the type of trailer and the maximum weight shown on its plate.
We check it can be towed
The weight, width and length have to be inside the legal limits for our tow vehicle. Nothing over 3,500kg loaded.
We collect it
Before it moves we check the coupling, breakaway cable, tyres, lights and load, as GOV.UK lists for any trailer.
We tow it to you
The trailer travels on its own wheels behind our vehicle and is handed over at your address.
Trailers we plan to move
Road trailers of up to 3,500kg loaded, which is the heaviest a car licence covers:
- Box or enclosed trailer
- Flatbed or plant trailer
- Car transporter
- Horse trailer
- Catering trailer
- Boat on its trailer
Pick the type on the form. It tells us what to equip for.
What has to be in place before we open
GOV.UK says a firm needs a goods vehicle operator's licence to carry other people's goods for payment when the towing vehicle and trailer are plated above 3,500kg together. We will not take a job until the towing is licensed for it. Where things stand.

Questions
When will it open?
No date is set. People on the waiting list will be emailed first.
What will it cost?
We have not set prices, so we cannot quote for a job yet.
Where will you cover?
We have not chosen areas. The From and To boxes on the form show us where trailers need moving, and we will start where the list is busiest.
Is joining the waiting list a booking?
No. It only means we will email you when bookings open. You can ask to be removed at any time.
How heavy a trailer will you move?
Up to 3,500kg when loaded. That is the heaviest trailer a car licence covers.
Can you move a trailer that is not roadworthy?
Not on its own wheels. A trailer towed on the road needs working lights, tyres with at least 1.6mm of tread and, if it weighs over 750kg loaded, working brakes.
