Trailer delivery by road, from the seller to your door
Trailer Delivery will collect a trailer or touring caravan from a seller, a dealer or a yard and tow it to your address, or to your buyer's. It is not open yet and nothing can be booked today.
Run by TPSTORES LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales. Who we are and where things stand.
Join the waiting list
Leave an email address and we will tell you when bookings open. Joining the list is not a booking. We have not quoted a price for any job and we have not promised a date.
It is for you if you have bought or sold one and cannot move it:
- you have no tow bar
- your car is not rated for its weight
- it is several hours' drive away
- you sold it and the buyer cannot collect
- Heaviest trailer we plan to move, when loaded
- 3,500kg
- Widest we can tow
- 2.55m
- Longest we can tow, not counting the A-frame
- 7m
- Loaded weight above which it must have working brakes
- 750kg
These are the legal limits for a trailer behind a car or 4x4, read on GOV.UK on 10 October 2026. All 41 figures, with sources.
How a delivery will work
You describe the trailer
Collection and delivery postcodes, the type of trailer, the maximum weight on its plate, and its width and length.
We check it can be towed
The weight, width and length have to be inside the legal limits for our tow vehicle. Nothing over 3,500kg loaded.
We collect it
Before it moves we check the coupling, breakaway cable, tyres, lights and load, as GOV.UK lists for any trailer.
We tow it to you
The trailer travels on its own wheels behind our vehicle and is handed over at your address.
Trailers we plan to move
Road trailers and touring caravans of up to 3,500kg when loaded, 2.55 metres wide and 7 metres long. One over 750kg when loaded must have working brakes.
- Box or enclosed trailer
- Flatbed or plant trailer
- Car transporter
- Horse trailer
- Catering trailer
- Boat on its trailer
- Touring caravan
Pick the type on the form. It tells us what to equip for. Which caravans we plan to move.
What has to be in place before we open
Three things: a goods vehicle operator's licence, a tow vehicle rated to pull 3,500kg, and insurance that covers a customer's trailer while it is towed. None is in place yet, and we will not take a job until all three are. Where things stand.
GOV.UK says a firm needs the licence to carry other people's goods for payment when the towing vehicle and trailer are plated above 3,500kg together.

Questions
When will it open?
No date is set. People on the waiting list will be emailed first.
What will it cost?
We have not set prices, so we cannot quote for a job yet.
Where will you cover?
We have not chosen areas. The two place boxes on the form show us where trailers need moving, and we will start where the list is busiest.
Is joining the waiting list a booking?
No. It only means we will email you when bookings open. You can ask to be removed at any time.
How heavy a trailer will you move?
Up to 3,500kg when loaded. That is the heaviest trailer a car licence covers.
Will you move caravans?
Touring caravans, yes, inside the same 3,500kg limit. Not a static caravan wider than 2.55 metres, which travels on a lorry.
Can you move a trailer that is not roadworthy?
Not on its own wheels. A trailer towed on the road needs working lights, tyres with at least 1.6mm of tread and, if it weighs over 750kg loaded, working brakes.
Who runs it?
TPSTORES LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales, number 13238473.
